January is School Board Appreciation Month

posted Jan 15, 2019, 11:27 AM by Geoff Parks
Nationwide and throughout Washington state, school districts are currently celebrating School Board Recognition Month. This year marks the 24th year of this annual observance initiated by the National School Boards Association.

School Board members tackle a difficult job and shoulder enormous responsibilities.  These elected community members provide vision and leadership in their roles as advocates, and they will continue to stand up for public education and guard against anything that takes away from our children.  Napavine benefits from the tireless work and countless hours contributed by these local citizens.  Please take a moment and tell our school board members “thanks for caring about our children and giving so much to our community”.  Let them know we support them and that their dedicated service is recognized and truly appreciated.

Napavine School District would like to take the time to thank our incredible school board members:  John Hylton, Tony Kinswa, Sonny Butler, Justin Evander, and Brad Woodrum.
