posted Feb 18, 2020, 11:55 AM by Geoff Parks
Napavine High School welders have been bringing home some hardware.  On January 24th, Napavine High School hosted a contest for SkillsUSA welding sculptures.  Lela Stewart took first, as she created a rooster sculpture made from copper.  Then on January 25th for the welding fabrication contest for SouthWest Washington at Centralia College, the Napavine team took first.  The team was made up of Ismael Vazquez, Evan Goodrich, and Victoria Rutherford.  This team will advance to the SkillsUSA Washington State Competition in April, held in Yakima.
