FREE COLLEGE CREDITS IN HIGH SCHOOL

CTE Dual Credits is a great way for students to receive college credits while taking classes here at Napavine. Utilizing our teachers’ students are able to receive the same training that meets articulation agreements with Pierce College, Bates Technical College, Clover Park Technical College or Centralia College. Students must perform at a C grade or better and meet the standards set by the classroom teacher.

Towards the end of the 1st Semester students will be asked to sign up for the class they qualify for. In June the teacher will place their grade in CTE-SERS which is the statewide grading database for all Community Colleges. Typically, students will be able to access their transcripts in August. Each college has a procedure for obtaining their transcript. Credits are accepted at all Washington colleges and can be used for electives or my apply to a college major. Check out https://pc3dualcredit.org/dual-credit-program/students-parents/Classes for more information and how to receive your transcript.

New Skyward Link

Over the Summer, the state provided some system maintenance to Skyward. As a result the district received a new web address for accessing Skyward Family/Student Access. If you had Skyward bookmarked in your web browser prior to July, that link is no longer in use. Please update your Skyward bookmark using this new updated web address. The new link has also been updated on our website and can be found at the top of our page.

Online Registration & Updating Student Information

Families who have new information to report—such as a change of address, phone number, or student health information—can make updates through Skyward Family Access using the Online Registration link.

If you need to make an update and the appropriate option is not available in Skyward, please contact your student's building secretary for assistance.

Student Accident Insurance

The safety of our students is of critical importance to all of us and we want to protect them from injury. Even so, accidents do happen (at school and elsewhere) and required medical care can be expensive. Please know that your school does not assume responsibility for such costs but does offer you access to several student accident insurance plans for voluntary purchase. Details can be found on our district website.
